We have just been made aware of a video recording allegedly showing that 14 Ah batteries from Taiwan contain cells from LG and not Panasonic.
We want to make perfectly clear that all bikes produced by our Taiwanese manufacturing partner have been specifically ordered and invoiced with Panasonic cells. Legal documentation of this is in place.
We would furthermore like to stress that we take this matter very seriously and will immediately launch a thorough investigation to assess if this is an isolated incident or a recurring problem with our Taiwanese manufacturing partner.
In continuation of our investigation, we will be considering all options available – including legal action.
